Our vision is to be a pioneering department at national and international level that educates conservator-restorers who have the knowledge and skills to conduct research and practice with scientific methods, to follow current approaches in the field of conservation, to establish interdisciplinary cooperation, and to be sensitive to professional ethical principles.
Mission
To contribute to the development of this field through a contemporary education program which follows the developments and changes in the field of conservation and restoration of movable and immovable cultural property; the education program is sensitive to the needs of our country and is prepared by taking into account the national and international legal regulations and standards,
To educate conservator-restorers who have sufficient knowledge and skills in theory and practice, have professional ethical values, are able to think multidimensionally and conduct interdisciplinary cooperation,
To ensure sustainability of our common heritage and memory through contributing to the conservation of cultural property via education and all related activities.
